Who knows what “Art of the Future” really is?

  • Modern art dates back over a century; so, can it still be considered “art of the future”?
  • Post-modern and contemporary art is present – not future.
  • Futuristic art of the past frequently got it wrong, anticipating designs and conditions that didn’t, or at least haven’t yet, come to pass. On the other hand, futuristic art has also frequently gotten it right, or may yet demonstrate the correctness of its instincts. Dubai a showplace for modern architecture may shape the future of how many of us live and work if it survives its financial crisis.
  • Art, design and aesthetics also play important and growing roles in enhancing business performance through product differentiation, employee satisfaction and customer loyalty. Here’s our view of the increasing prominence of Art in Business.

Our Gallery takes a stab at illustrating some ways to consider the dilemma. You may have many, many other ways.
